Camille Walala brings her signature technicolor touch to sketch London

sketch, Mayfair’s iconic destination for bold design and culinary innovation, has unveiled a new large-scale entrance installation by French artist and designer Camille Walala. Running from September 10 to November 10, 2026, the installation transforms the historic building into an abstract cityscape with Walala’s signature mix of geometric forms and vibrant color. The work draws on influences from the Memphis movement, Ndebele art and Victor Vasarely.

Created in collaboration with Grey Goose vodka, the site-specific work incorporates sketch’s existing blue walls and flooring alongside warm reds, purples and 1970s-inspired gradients. Two vintage Pierre Paulin Groovy chairs add to the visual impact. Coinciding with London Design Festival and Frieze Week, the installation continues sketch’s long-standing commitment to art and design.
